This last season can easily be described in one word - AMAZING!
The intentional use of "AMAZING" is as good a descriptive word that I can come up with BUT, pics do an even more formidable job in conveying just how incredible this last season has been. Check these out: http://fourcurlnation.com/book-a-hunt/pics-of-hunts
To demonstrate FCN's growth in clients, quality property and quality hunts; lets take a look at the numbers:
2012-13 84 hunters 310 ducks harvested for an average of 3.69 birds per hunter.
2013-14 87 hunters 418 ducks harvested for an average of 4.80 birds per hunter.
2014-15 182 hunters 933 ducks harvested for an average of 5.13 birds per hunter.
This season has provided FCN and my clients with many a memorable hunt. From 6-gun limits in 27 minutes to a spectacular shooting exhibition where I personally witness a group from the Frisco Gun Club shoot 36 out of 45 ducks that came to our pond.
Master chef Scott Romano of the Frisco Gun Club prepared the most delicious duck sausage from this outing and was kind enough to bring me a sampling the following weekend. NEVER have I had anything close to this good!

I prepared it just as he instructed along with some eggs and fruit; served it to my wife on her birthday yesterday. She loved it!
My son Daniel joined me in the guiding ranks along with my good friend Todd Hamilton. Some of you even had the good fortune of experiencing the joys of hunting with my daughter Sarita while she was home from college for winter break. She was all in, even down to the face paint! What a hoot, especially the falling and getting stuck in what, 18" of water? LOL! Good times!
My faithful retriever Roxy in her 10th season working with me, though slowed a bit by age, still handled her business like a pro.
I also introduced my new pup Blaze this season.
She cut her teeth early during dove season and was full throttle by Teal season where she was tackling geese bigger than her.
I absolutely loved getting reacquainted with my clients from previous seasons and making many new friends this season. You all are top notch and my guides and I all appreciated your willingness to pitch in when it came to setting up or breaking down. It makes for a better experience when you all are actively involved. My landowners also wanted to give you props as they all said we left their property better than we found it and they were glad we had enjoyable hunts while utilizing their ponds.
Several of the corporate groups as well as a few individuals have already inquired about reserving dates for next season. As many of you have experienced this last season, the word of our success has finally gotten out and as a result I was completely booked for the remainder of the season just a week after the 2nd split. I certainly appreciated your enthusiasm. Once I catch my breath from this last season I will dive into creating and adding a calendar feature on this site so you can see at a glance what dates are available. I'd strongly suggest getting with me come August/September to reserve your spots for next season.
I plan on continuing to diligently search for and obtain 5-10 more quality pieces of water all prefereably still in the local DFW area. If any of you are aware of property owners open to the idea of leasing their ponds to a professional and courteous outfitter, please do not hesitate to get in contact with me. We can work out a finder's fee, reduced rate for next season or something to show my appreciation for your help.
The clothing drive was a smashing success. Ended up with 3 pickup trucks full of cloths that were donated to the homeless this season. I sincerely appreciated all those that contributed to the support of the less fortunate. Y'all rock!
I enjoyed the heck out of this season guys & gals and look forward, dare I say, to an even better season next year!
Take care and God bless.
